Auburn University believes in excellence and strives to provide the best environment possible for guiding our Golden Key members to achieve in academics, leadership and service. The 212th Golden Key chapter, Auburn University was chartered May 16th, 1994, as part of U.S. Region 3, which includes schools in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

With more than 6,700 members since 1994, the Auburn University Golden Key chapter is a large one, and our members have gone on to do great things in their lives. Honorary members include Jan Dempsey, former Mayor of Auburn, AL; and former University President Ed Richardson. Our chapter is also very focused on service; members perform an average of 300 hours annually, and we’ve maintained a Gold Standing for exemplary community outreach. We welcome prospective members sophomore year through graduate school who are in the top 15% of their class and interested in service and leadership development.

We love what we do.

Golden Key offers its members exclusive opportunities and connections through over half a million dollars in scholarships and awards, partnerships with major corporations, career advancement and graduate programs. The Society also works with university faculty and administrators to develop and maintain one of the highest standards of education in the world.
